More 'Going Back inTime . . .'

NOVEMBER 1ST, 2005

Cancer, Number One Killer of Pets
ANIMAL HEALTH ADMINISTRATOR TO MARTHA - " I don't have enough hands to hold all of the pencils."

Dear Martha,

I've been enthusiastic to see the tone of your animal industry APPRENTICE hour.
Nonpareil !!!

You really do invest in animals as worthwhile citizens! You also certainly have the edge on how to employ their good spirits into big business !

I'd like to familiarize you with the wonderful eight year history of the founding of and then my travels with National Cancer Society for Animals.

*****************************************************

We start with hearing my Weimaraner's doctor in 1998 ---

"We've got some shocking news. 'Professor' has bone cancer. We have to amputate her leg."

And wrap up with
now, 2005 ---

Reading words from author Deborah Straw in her new book, THE HEALTHY PET MANUAL, A GUIDE TO THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF CANCER . . . I could not have written this book without the help of so many veterinarians, other animal care practitioners, animal lovers, and writers. Special thanks for help with this edition go to Dr. George Glanzberg, Rita Reynolds, Andrea Spencer. . . .

I'm complete, replete with taking on this insidious disease, the number one killer of animals.

I'll be describing to you the more than 60 projects we are executing, our national media power and funding campaign initiative, our creative and educational product line to be developed, our cancer patient stories from Rome to our hometowns and much more learning material for your and my national audience.

PURPOSE BEING ---------

1. To Educate. Your media hemisphere is bigger than mine.

2. I Need Help. This "diamond in the dustpan" is running away with all of us in the animal community who have linked onto 'Professor's' legacy. We need to market the many aspects of this legacy.

I don't have enough hands to hold all of the pencils !
I need to "APPRENTICE" with you, not him, not her, but you. I've researched your animal commitment and your businesswoman's style and success. It's me.

Soon,
Andrea Spencer

Februay 14, 2008 - WELL, I'M RETIRED NOW AND ON TO SOMETHING ELSE, BUT THERE'S ALWAYS TIME TO CARRY AT LEAST ONE PENCIL.

Signed,
Willing and Waiting
